An Appeal to Save a Little Girl's (Uma) LifeThis is an urgent appeal to everyone to help a little girl who is in critical condition. Uma, the six year old daughter of Dr. Indira Menon and Dr. Pramod Kaila of Atlanta, has been recently diagnosed with Bone Marrow Failure aka Aplastic Anemia. This makes her vulnerable to bruises and causes all her blood counts to be low, which in turn makes her more prone to infections and anemia. Although the current treatment plan is immunosuppressive therapy, the only curative treatment is a Bone Marrow transplant. Uma's family is searching desperately for a bone marrow match for her.
