TikTok/YouTube Shorts: Rules and Instructions

Participants can enter a video of their creation through the app TikTok by using the distinguished hashtag, #KCSeTalentSeason8, and submit the TikTok link to KCSMW eTalent entry form.

Participants can submit a video of their creation as YouTube Shorts, ensuring it is “Unlisted”. Use the hashtag #KCSeTalentSeason8, and submit the YouTube Shorts link to KCSMW.

  • Solo – Junior, Senior, Adult
  • Group (two or more participants with family, friends, kids, etc.)

 

Instructions:

  • Participants are allowed to submit only ONE entry.
  • Video length: 20-60 seconds
  • You are invited to submit movie/TV dialogues, songs, or any other content, and you’re free to use any voice, including your own. Your submissions don’t have to be limited to movie/TV dialogues or songs. Feel free to be creative!
  • For Youtube shorts, groups can use different camera angles and multiple shots (optional). This option is ONLY for groups and NOT for solo entries

 

Judging Criteria:

your video will be judged based on the creativity and execution of the following will be considered:

  • Transitions/Effects (optional)
  • Originality
  • Audio quality and Visual appeal
  • Following all guidelines
    • Incomplete, garbled, corrupted, illegible, obscene, indecent, inappropriate, profane, and offensive entries are void and will not be accepted. Contestants should not use music, photos, brand logos or any other copyrighted material to produce their entry. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with TikTok/Youtube. Please abide by all Youtube rules. The decision of the judges will be final.
